About Robin

Iā€™m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles. I have my masters in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in LGBT Affirmative Therapy and am earning hours towards licensure. Before starting in private practice, I trained at the LA LGBT Center, where I worked with clients and facilitated group therapy on topics such as grief & loss and consensual non-monogamy.

While therapy is about you, there are a few important personal aspects that I bring to my work which might contribute to a more meaningful therapeutic relationship. Before realizing my dream of working as a therapist, I was a freelance photographer for over 15 years working in the entertainment industry. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to challenge systems of privilege and oppression in the ongoing work of understanding the psychological impact of racial injustice and trauma, class inequality, ableism, sexism, homo/transphobia and other systemic inequities. I feel honored to have discovered this calling which allows me daily opportunities to create safety for emotional excavation and bear witness to the incredible resilience of my clients.

As an AMFT, I receive weekly supervision from Chrissy Comlish, LMFT.
