About Robin

Iā€™m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #136529 based in Los Angeles supervised by Chrissy Comlish, LMFT # 93513. I have my masters in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in LGBT Affirmative Therapy and am earning hours towards licensure. Before starting in private practice, I served for 18 months as a trainee at the LA LGBT Center, where I worked with clients and facilitated group therapy on topics such as grief & loss and consensual non-monogamy.

While therapy is about you, there are a few important personal aspects that I bring to my work which might contribute to a more meaningful therapeutic relationship. Before realizing my dream of working as a therapist, I was a freelance photographer for over 15 years working in the entertainment industry. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to challenge systems of privilege and oppression in the ongoing work of understanding the psychological impact of racial injustice and trauma, class inequality, ableism, sexism, homo/transphobia and other systemic inequities. I feel honored to have discovered this calling which allows me daily opportunities to create safety for emotional excavation and bear witness to the incredible resilience of my clients.
